The Ford FoundationThe Ford Foundation, established in 1936, supports visionary leaders on the frontlines of social change worldwide. The Foundation's Civil and Criminal Justice Systems program is to ensure access for marginalized groups to a robust criminal justice community committed to fairness and equal protection under the law.
The Columbus FoundationThe Columbus Foundation envisions a community where every resident has the opportunity to flourish. They believe a community flourishes when all members of it have the opportunity to live up to their full potential, unencumbered by disadvantages inherited simply by the color of their skin or the zip code in which they were born.
The Partnership/Partnership Action FundsFormed in 2013, the Partnership Fund and Partnership Action Fund is a collaborative fund supported by several funding institutions who work together and learn with organizations and leaders that empower communities to achieve local, state, and national change.
Greater Cincinnati FoundationThe Greater Cincinnati Foundation creates a prosperous Greater Cincinnati by investing in thriving people and vibrant places. An effective steward of the community's charitable resources since 1963, the Foundation inspires philanthropy in eight counties in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Through their Strong Communities program area, GCF seeks to promote a comprehensive community development approach by improving the physical, economic, and social conditions of neighborhoods, and enhance quality of life, strengthen community and civic engagement.
Art for Justice FundFounded in 2017, the Art for Justice Fund believes in the enduring power of art to call for change, to expose injustice, and to empower communities. The Fund connects the generosity of collectors with the creativity of artists and the ingenuity of advocates to help solve the crisis of mass incarceration.
The Nord FoundationThe Nord Family Foundation is a successor to a charitable trust established in 1952 by the entrepreneur and industrialist W.G. Nord. Mr. Nord and his family believed that it was both responsible and prudent for a business to invest in the community it served. The Nord Family Foundation partners to advance equity, expand access to opportunity, and build thriving and inclusive communities.
The Char and Chuck Fowler Family FoundationThe Char and Chuck Fowler Family Foundation is committed to helping create an equitable Northeast Ohio. We do this by funding and partnering with organizations that elevate community assets, dismantle barriers to opportunity, and create a vibrant environment.

The George Gund FoundationOne of the key philanthropic leaders in Ohio, the George Gund Foundation, was established in 1952 and is based in Cleveland. The Foundation is committed to meeting the changing opportunities and challenges in our society and has a strong history of philanthropy in the field of juvenile justice.
The Raymond John Wean FoundationEstablished in 1949 and based in Warren, The Raymond John Wean Foundation has
been a leader in innovating new initiatives to be a catalyst for positive change in
the counties it serves. The Foundation has a
demonstrated history of focusing on resident engagement and building networks for
collective impact. The Raymond John Wean Foundation represents one of the regions in
Ohio that is most impacted by the inequities of the criminal justice system and has a
strong existing base of returning citizens engaged in addressing these issues.
The Saint Luke's FoundationThe Saint Luke's Foundation was established in 1997 as the charitable arm of the Saint Luke's Medical Center. Through the Resilient Families program strategy, Foundation catalyzes and sustains opportunities to ensure that community resources meet their families' needs and empower parents to implement their vision for the health and well-being of their families. The strategy supports partners that value the intrinsic assets within families and empower families to support themselves and on another. They are committed to ensuring that families build strong networks and ties to grassroots and community-based resources as they recognize that sustainable solutions exist in neighborhoods and between individual families.
The Cleveland FoundationFounded in 1914, The Cleveland Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives
of all residents of Greater Cleveland, now and for generations to come, by working together with donors to build community endowment, address needs through grantmaking, and provide leadership on key community issues. The Cleveland Foundation's responsive grantmaking seeks to improve access to services and programs for vulnerable and underserved populations, strengthen nonprofit organizations, test new ideas and different partnerships, and support policy and advocacy. HealthComp FoundationThe HealthComp Foundation was established in 2016 utilizing funding from a prior business venture of The Center for Health Affairs’ for-profit affiliate, HealthComp, Inc. In creating the foundation, The Center and its members seek to reinvest in the Northeast Ohio community by supporting collaborative work that will make a positive impact.
The mission of the HealthComp Foundation is to accelerate a healthy community and advance equity through partnerships and investment. Our vision is to foster a future norm where healthcare collaboration promotes health equity in our community. |
